The teacher we should have appreciated

In every school there is this one teacher whom everybody hates. Even this teachers colleagues have always a bad word about them. And probably because of the fact that everyone hates them and they would be otherwise kicked out of school in under a second, they are always the best, but hardest teachers. If you still don't understand (or have been home schooled your whole life.. and never enjoyed the joys of high school lunch) think of Snape. Yep, Severus Snape from the beloved Harry Potter books.. Gryffindor hated him, just because he was strict and awaited so much from them.. Well, okay, he was a stuffed arsehole and did many nasty things. But as a teacher he was just as my maths teacher.

With all my now gained respect, she is as a person a sunny, nice and easy-going. In school she is made from steel, awaiting from us nearly eyes dropping results. I wouldn't say that she is a wonderful teacher, as she explains things in her own way and it is needed a longer period to adjust yourself to get her ideas and thoughts. But the moment you actually do that, you start seeing her good sides, like for example she is always available if you don't get something or the fact that she is rather funny sometimes. Her strict attitude? It certainly helps our class to proceed since we have not failed any big test and other classes have failed them completely.

The last three weeks my maths and physics teacher was ill and did not teach us. As a subtitude teacher we received one of those young, beloved but yet so arrogant and narsistic teachers. She tried, maybe even hard. I still don't have a clue of what her name is.

So this time, let me rise my hat and glass of wine to the teachers whom we hate but in few years will be crying after to, since they are the best teachers we will probably have on this stage.

Rising the glass to Ms H, Liz. (and if you ever read this, Ms H, I want to say again- thank you)
