Person of the Week- Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad was born in Laguna Beach (California) as the oldest of three children. She has studied various, mostly fashion inspired, subjects. Lauren is mostly famous for being a reality show superstar ("American Royalty" is a nickname given to her by her huge  public), first on The Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, then on The Hills. To get the title "Person of the Week" that information given up is not valuable.

What has she done in her life? Many things, just for example we shall take these things: be on two reality shows, write three fiction books (which are kind of based on reality) and one style-themed book which is already called a classic. She is a trend- setter, always on time and still looking smart and sophisticated. She has been an intern on Teen Vogue (which caused their sales to double) and is making nowadays big money just being herself and showing up. Now.. She was born in 1986, so she is currently 25 years old. That list is huge.

Don't you just love her dress and shoes?

If anyone needed a proof about her being a trendsetter and smart, sophisticated girl, this outfit screams all of those. She is sassy, girly, determined and comfortable all in one look. No wonder she is admired. There is also another reason why she is so admired: she seems to be a plain, smart, sophisticated, nice and outgoing, down-to-earth kind of girl with many friends and only few enemies. She is that girl that everyone says "she would be a great, trustworthy best friend" and also want to be friends with her. On the reality shows she has shown herself as a sweet, caring girl.

A Strong Woman to be admired
With this, I nominate Lauren Conrad as the Person of the Week for she is sweet, caring, improves the world with her own positivity, and is strong in situations where probably everyone else would not be.

Not a million dollar baby but still got everything

It can feel sometimes that one has nothing. I have to admit that I felt exactly like that last week. Everything was going wrong: closet full of old-fashioned clothes, bad hair days, row with parents, no money etc. ... But then I talked with some friends and realized that my life isn't actually so bad because they have problems, too - everyone has! In reality there are millions of people who really have nothing (not even the basics), but I'm not one of them. Yesterday when I was sitting with my dear friends in a fine cafeteria, I felt so happy! Well, what would be nicer than spending time with good friends? Nothing.
Because of my friends I have everything. <3

Day one.

Life on this part of the globe is like a roller coaster - it's either eventful or not. So since today, 21.2.2011, we will write the happenings of our lives down on this blog.
Today is a happy day, because we are able to spend two days together and do the things we always wanted to do together. Maybe you can recognize that we both are very busy usually and since we are not studying in the same place, we don't see each other as much as we would like to.
Just recently we both have experienced things that pretty much changed how we see surroundings and one of those things were relationships and everything that goes with them.

Okay, enough with that shit! Now about our day:)
Liz is going to move into a huge house with her family, and we were just there taking some pics for the architect. Because it was very cold and freezing, we were warming us up with having fun. So here are the results.

...and after the "hard" work at the house we went back to Liz´s apartment and did delicious salad with chicken and rice. Mums!
