Travel in train

If you, in the same way as I, have never travelled whole days in a train... Read this carefully: because now the wholly amazed Liz can tell you some tips for your train trips.  Be comfortable and and carefully clothed.

1. Be comfortable and carefully clothed.

-> don't wear your best clothes (at some moment you'll get hot/cold and trust me, your best dress will         be all unwrinkled and not as great looking as before)
-> high heels is a big no-no. Trust flat shoes, if not Converse/Olympus, then comfortable flats/ballerinas.
jeans are the best choose. I support also tights+something combo
-> About those jeans. Even if tight jeans make your ass look great, don't wear them. Looks awful after 4 hours (or more) sitting.

2. Drink lots of water.
-> sitting whole day is tiring, and kind of the same as flying (you sit probably uncomfortably)

3. Trust (not) the cafes of trains.
   -> they are expensive
-> if you were so idiotic that forgot your water+food (snacks), trust them and buy the water and damn food.. we don't water a dead body in the crowd

4. Even if something doesn't go according to your plan, there is one thing 100% sure- there will be more trains.
-> don't cry/be bitchy to other people, it's not their fault. Probably it was your fault anyways.
-> relax, go with the flow, honey

5. If you sit next to an unknown person, talk with them. you are probably traveling with the train to a new town/city/country/.. and if they have lived there their whole life, they should know their city.
-> be sensitive, if they sleep or look sleepy, don't bother to wake them up
-> don't ask personal questions! It's not your place to know how their life is.
-> if you're a girl and you're asking a guy.. they might assume that you're hitting on them. Since I don't sport quickies  trains with strangers, my advice is: tell them that you have a boyfriend (even if you don't) and that you are not interested in him. This you tell at that moment when he is either suggesting something bad or strongly and weirdly telling you about his girlfriend.

Cars, boys

Guess who signed up to driving school today? :D Me!

I also got a new pass, asked to cut the old picture of he old pass as a memory (and was given the powerful "YEASH" /the lady had weird accent.. and when she cut the picture, she asked her co-worker to join her, and then they !literally! talked three minutes how cute I was as a child. Then they looked at me again and saw my at that moment unshaved legs and went all quiet. ugh)

For a first time ever my best guy friend was not nice to me and went to sleep early. :/ So I wrote a long message to my guy friend (who has a girl friend and all, but for some weird reason is "Interested in me as a friend".. :D sounds so wrong now). Now, an hour later, he has told me about all his problems with his girlfriend and because my best friend kinda dumped me into the night when I don't wan tto go to sleep, I sit here and eat ice cream and read these cute messages from him.

Sober in a closet, this means summer

Have you ever watched your friends acting all idiotic but been happy even so.. Because you know you won't see them for such a long time? Yeah, for me ten weeks is a long time. :D And because of those ten weeks you excuse every stupidity from them. Even though you know that those stupidities are the ones which you would never excuse under other circumstances. On the next morning you wake up feeling stupid, kind of nostalgic.. and suddenly there seem to be no excuses for no ones behavior last night.

Now it's sunday, I should have done million of things but the Internet decided not to work when needed and so after buying my closet at IKEA's.. I've done nothing. Summer, I know :D

About my closet. This may sound weird.. or strange, or just amazing, but I'm having 2,5m of closet space  just for my stuff. How wonderful is it? Or on the other side.. How freaking weird is it? Really, do NORMAL people even have that much of closet space? Because of this, I wanted to have an IKEA'n PAX- closet. My whole thing (I can't possibly say it's a normal closet now, can I?) costed 800€. A price I've seen now only by IKEA, for 2,5m closet spaces. To be totally honest with you, I would pay for this closet even three times more if needed. The Pax is so wonderful and useful that I have no interest in using "normal" closets ever again. Yep, I'm totally Ikea-closet girl :D Geez, this sounded so stupid.. I'm amazed that I actually wrote it.

Have a great summer, these girls are having full blast of summer now!

Hairdresser is a golden, steady person- hold to them

Now, a story (again.. I should become a story writer or something, I noticed that I tell nearly everything story form)

A hairdresser, whom I have used now over 10 years (before that my hair was always cut by my sister, mum or aunt) First, she started really small- her "chair" was a borrowed, her clippers and stuff was bought to her by her clients, who believed in her and knew her story. Her story isn't important now, even thought it is inspiring. So, with help of her clients, her talent and attitude she first came out from that horrendous place in the outskirts of the city. Back then there was no good connections with trains and busses, so one had to travel four busses to get there.. And once you were there you were deadly afraid if someone would beat you up in the streets.

Her new place, now a studio shared with another hairdresser was in city, easy to reach and nearly perfect.. Just that her partner became an alcoholic and she had to seek another place. So she bought her own place, in few years she renovated the whole space.. It was amazing what she managed to do just in ten years, after having cancer and moving into the country.

So this year she sold her beautiful place and went back to where she started. Her clients are usually from middle class or lower class.. And even so, when I went to the part of the city where she started and got my hair cut.. I cried a while when I walked out of her "salon", where she now had her own chair and used her own products, while the other ladies in there used cheap products. The music was not jazz anymore but country-radio, where she washes clients hair was so uncomfortable that I lost the feel of my both hands for five minutes. The amazing thing is that the moment she talked with me or just casually walked by.. There was no such a feeling that she has reached her bottom again, nor that she has to start her whole career into the luxury of an own place now, ten years older. Her respect for her clients and her excellent job has made her hundreds of clients stay with her. Now okay, I have few times tried another hairdresser.. but no way I'm coming back to them.

The whole point if this story is: if you find a hairdresser who does your hair excellently, who knows what you like and what suits you, who gives tips on what products to use and which ones are just harmful to you, a hairdresser who no matter where or when respects you and does the job wonderfully.. Then, believe me, this hairdresser is worth all the gold in the world. Seriously, if my hairdresser suddenly decides to move out of the country and into another one.. Trust me, I will still be flying to her, to get my hair done.
